PETA asked the Pet Shop Boys to change their name. Maybe they should go after a slightly more still-culturally relevant band to make a statement. Sure, “Rescue Shelter Boys” does have better moral connotations, but pet shops are still necessary if you own a pet and want to buy them food.

I know, right? As if they needed anything else to make them look like the idiots they are. I have to wonder about the mental state of people who actually follow them faithfully.
